City and State Election Information

Applications to be on the city council are available in the City Clerk's Office. The deadline is Monday, August 16 at high noon.

Absentee voting for the State Primary Election began August 9, 2010 and will carry on through August 23, 2010. If you will not be present for the August 24 Primary election, you may vote absentee in the City Clerk’s office, Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Campaigning within 200 feet of city hall is prohibited during these voting hours.

Any questions regarding voting can be directed to the City Clerk's Office, 224-4046.

A certificate of substantial lcompletion was issued and Providence moved Physical Therapy staff and began seeing patients at the Wesley Commons at Seward Mountain Haven on September 28, 2009.

ASLC Seawater Heat Pump Project

How cool is this?

The Alaska Sealife Center Seawater Heat pump project has been selected by the Denali Commission for funding!!!!!

The heat pump technology should save energy, reduce the carbon footprint and prove valuable for a broader application in Seward and Alaska. This should be an interesting project!
