The Seward Parks & Recreation Department facilitates recreational, educational, social and cultural activities for the community and visitors.  The department staff is professionally committed to protecting, improving and promoting City of Seward park lands and natural resources.  The department strives to improve the quality of life, the physical and mental well being of individuals through positive opportunities and choices.  Our goal is to provide "Mountains of Recreation" to all residents and visitors to Seward, Alaska.
